Data privacy

1. Type and scope of the collection and processing of personal data when visiting this website

When using our website, data such as the IP address, the type of access, the user agent, the success of the access, the page accessed and the page from which you came, the date and time of access are transmitted for technical reasons. We store this data for a maximum period of seven days for reasons of error diagnosis and for forwarding to authorities in the event of a cyber attack. No further processing of the data, such as in the course of statistical surveys, takes place. In particular, there is no collection or processing by third parties, as we use our own servers for the operation of our website for reasons of data protection, which of course only our administrators have access to.

2. Type and scope of the collection and processing of personal data when using the contact form

When using the contact form, the data entered in the form fields is collected and stored on our servers. The data is used exclusively for the purpose of correspondence and will be completely deleted after the end of the conversation, unless other legal requirements apply. The only mandatory fields when contacting us are those that serve the purpose of the conversation. These therefore include the reply/sender address, your message to us and your consent to processing in accordance with this privacy policy. The other fields are optional and as such are not marked with an asterisk. To grant permission to process your data, you must be at least sixteen years of age.

3. Use of other personal data such as cookies and other tracking and / or advertising measures

We do not use cookies, measures to identify individual users or advertising services.

To improve our website, we create anonymous usage statistics with Plausible Analytics. We run Plausible ourselves on our own servers. The data is not passed on to third parties.

Plausible does not set cookies and does not store anything on your device. It records the page visited, the page you came from, browser, operating system, device type and country, and how far you viewed a page (scroll depth and sections shown). Your IP address is not stored. It is only used briefly, together with the user agent, to create an identifier that changes daily and does not allow any conclusions about your person.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in analysing and improving our website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

4. Encryption

All pages of this website are delivered in encrypted form. Data from you to us, such as sending form data or requesting further pages, is also encrypted. The TLS encryption method is used for this. The older SSL in all versions is not used due to the vulnerability of the protocol. This process not only protects the data traffic between your browser and our servers from being read by third parties, but also prevents it from being manipulated. Furthermore, our server also authenticates itself with your browser using its domain name (www.adama.de), so that you can be sure that the information displayed comes from us.

5. Right of access and right to erasure of data

You have the right to find out from us at any time whether you are personally affected by the collection, storage and processing by us. You can contact us at the following address:

Adama GmbH
Eberstädter Marktstraße 18
64297 Darmstadt

datenschutz@adama.de

You can also withdraw your consent to the storage and processing of your data at any time. To do so, you can also use our contact form or contact us at the address provided.

We will delete your data immediately, provided there are no legal provisions to the contrary.

Your data, your choice. We use necessary cookies to keep adama.de working. With your consent, we use further cookies and technologies to analyse our website and to provide external content. You can find more information in our privacy policy.
